I saw a black youth with a full head/face covering loitering around a machete bin outside a police station for more than 10 minutes when I was waiting for a tram at the adjancent tram stop. He had a bag on the top of the bin, and looked very sus. I’m surprised two cops who I saw walk into the station didn’t question why he was loitering around the bin so long. It was pretty obvious he was planning to attempt to crack open the bin using the $9 tool you can buy from bunnings, or use heavy fishing line or cord with strong magnets attached to try fish out a machete.
