Electric vehicles with their dangerous lithium batteries have been causing explosions and fires across the world. Shipping companies have banned the transport of EV’s.
There have been many instances in Australia of lithium batteries exploding when being charged and this is not confined to cars. The EV impossible dream is wearing thin with consumers as Ford and General motors have around 200,000 EV’s they can’t sell and now have gone out of EV production.
Australia does not yet have a strong relationship with EV’s, especially outside of major cities where the tyranny of distance, the absence of charging stations and soon with the nonsense of Net Zero, electricity companies have said there will be insufficient mains power to recharge their batteries.
However the damage being inflicted on the Australian economy by renewable power de-industrialisation policies of Labor and Greens, combined with the advent of AI replacing the workforce, this country is in for a very rough time.

Don’t hold back, mate, tell us which part you reckon is BS. You reckon Lithium batteries don’t explode or catch fire? Or do you reckon no shipping companies have banned lithium battery vehicles?
Commenter Kniszka, it’s a fact they are burning ships and the ships are also in strife in the Suez canal so why not drop some of the operations, and it will also make them work harder to fix their batteries, all these batteries, they will keep evolving, meanwhile the car dealers here are a real problem, the most popular car in Japan is the Nissan e-note because it has no mechanical stuff just electric motors and a petrol generator, so much cheaper without gearboxes etc. but the car dealers don’t want to import it !!! They are too busy on their get-rich-quick mission.
Yeah they wanted to put a bus station under a block of flats in London, the residents fought and won. Too many London buses exploding all over the city, especially during charging.
Then there’s Scandanavia at the moment, the EV buses won’t work because of the winter freeze. EV’s are just glorified golf buggies, maybe they should have kept them to milk floats like the good ole days.
Or at least trial them under small scale conditions, see if they work, and if so then scale up. But no, they went big without trialling the product.

Keep writing bullshit like this article and you loose a lot of supporters. Some technical innovations has nothing to do with NEW WORLD ORDER!!
Joey…. I’m trying to imagine a police pursuit where criminals and police have to find an EV charging station, wait their turn, take a hour to recharge before resuming their ‘high speed chase’ …. sounds like a cartoon you’d watch on TV!
About time to take to the streets to demand Blackout Bowen is sacked, and our electricity supply is built upon reliable coal, gas and nuclear sources!
Instead of Prius jokes, it soon will be EV and Tesla jokes and pranks.

I wonder with the increasing number of police chases/ pursuits, do you think that they would use cars, with these dangerous/ deadly lithium batteries, esp. during prolonged ‘heated’ pursuits?
