A Secret recording of a Chinese military meeting planning the invasion of Taiwan and the defeat of regional U.S. forces has reportedly been uncovered.

In the past week, in response to the instruction of the “Central Military Commission of the State Council” in Beijing on “transitioning to a war time system,” a meeting took place involving senior officers of the People Liberation Army’s Guangdong Military Region of the Southern Command and the principal officers in Guangdong Province administration and the regional Chinese Communist Party committee.
This covert meeting allegedly discussed defeating US forces in the Pacific which could include all US bases in Australia.

More China Bashing.
China’s navy is there to protect China only. The US navy is there to project US power throughout the whole world thanks to the 800 US military bases in 70 countries.
Obvious therefore that the threat to the world is NOT China, BUT the US, Israel’s Attack Dog, with a record of invading any country that poses the slightest threat to their interests or “security”.
The US and Western countries are intimidating China in the South China Sea under the pretext of ‘freedom of navigation’ and patrolling the Taiwan Strait to ‘protect’ Taiwan.
The US with its the immense sprawling military presence that it has built up around China in a vast network of operations that extend from Hawaii all the way to India is THE threat to China.

Regardless of what the US does or does not do, I am sure the People’s Republic of China will invade or attempt to invade the independent nation of the Republic of China (Taiwan) just like it invaded Tibet, just like the PRC used Gook proxies like the Viet Cong, the Khmer Rouge, ZANLA etc to invade other independent nations throughout the 20th century.

lindesymonds well I did say nearly all. Just for comparison, there’s 132 nations in the BRI alone, another 10 or 12 busting at the bit to join BRICS and (last time I checked) 40 nations have their trade ministers clamoring to do business with Russia.
There’s one other factor to consider too when accusing China of acting aggressively and that’s confucianism. China has no intention of invading anyone but you can bet your life China will defend it’s territory.

@Rebecca. I think you should check out the difference between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of China (Taiwan). The ROC has a permanent seat on the UN Security Council and thirteen nations recognize it as a sovereign nation.

lindesymonds something you may not know but should is Taiwan is officially recognised as Chinese territory by nearly every nation on the planet including Taiwan, Australia, UK and the US and as far as I’m aware, not one nation in all history has invaded their own territory, they’ve defended it.
That said, the heading of this article says “Secret Chinese military meeting plans invasion of Taiwan” and the last sentence says “This covert meeting allegedly discussed defeating US forces in the Pacific which could include all US bases in Australia.”
Which is correct? It’s obviously the heading is bollocks for the reasons stated above and as there were no insurmountable issues between China and Taiwan before the US decided to create them for the sole purpose of containing the BRI, I hope and prey it’s the last sentence.
One good thing is perhaps now people will wake up to the fact the submarine deal is the biggest mistake our once proud nation has ever made.
NOTE: As a long time subscriber to thegatewaypundent, it’s record for accuracy is up there with Consortium News however, it’s tendency to over hype now and again is up there with the ABC.

In any case, I very much doubt that we can look forward to such a serendipitous development, because a variety of mystics from disparate times and localities around the world have all stated almost verbatim that in the coming global conflagration, only one nation will be untouched by a single bomb – a “large island nation in the south, as large as all of Europe”.
The list of candidates for that description is fairly short.
So we’ll have to find some other way to clean the place out. I’m all in favour of utilising our abundance of lamp posts together with a few hundred furlongs of sturdy rope.

Do we need to stress exactly WHERE Taiwan and those heroic “democracy and freedom loving” American forces are? Hint – it’s nowhere NEAR the USA, in fact they’re THOUSANDS OF MILES AWAY from North America and pressing right up against China’s BORDERS, literally SURROUNDING China.

All Military meetings are secret. Of course they will plan to forcibly take Taiwan especially now that the US has increased provocations. Of course they will take out all US Bases here and the Australian ones being used against them when the provocations become unbearable. The neocons are ramping up for armageddon…
