The latest outrage in an Indianapolis shopping centre was thwarted by a legally armed citizen who shot the crazed gunman before he could injure any more shoppers.
Having an armed citizenry not only protects the general public but acts as a bulwark between runaway government and its citizens.
Australia should take notice because an armed citizenry also is a deterrent to hostile invasion by countries such as China or Indonesia.

Effectively Switzerland has a standing army of 1 million men trained in the use of weapons and Guerrilla warfare.
