Civil disobedience took on a new meaning in Virginia, US yesterday, as many thousands of gun rights supporters took to the street in defiance of the Virginia Governor’s edict to drastically tighten up gun laws and ban armed civilians from demonstrating in the streets.

Police stood on helplessly as Second Amendment rights proponents filled the streets, where numerous armed militia members carrying semi-automatic military rifles goaded Virginia law enforcement to “bring it on.”
Naturally Australian gun owners would not ever have the balls to stage a similar show of force after being dumbed-down by their collective soft-cock shooting bodies, the party duopoly and the left media which have rolled over with each and every tightening of gun laws since the false flag Port Arthur massacre in 1996.
Cairnsnews stands shoulder to shoulder with our American brothers on the inalienable right of freemen to carry and bear arms.
Will??
Have.
i think people who say guns are an evil – should look at a gas stove and reflect on how you can use an implement to do harm === the world wants a magic carpet ride for a free and safe fantasy ride in life == but that is not real== Guns are not evil — people who do not respect life are evil – education and common laws are just natural – but it is too hard to educate and nurture… and easier to criminalize
You can give a man information, but you can’t give him courage.
We the people in Australia are not soft a lot of people are asleep and are beginning to wake up the problem we have over here us we are too apathetic and think it won’t affect us people you need to get off the couch and take action if someone Organised a March I would have no problem attending it and speaking my mind to get the truth out to all we the people are ultimately in control not the politicians or the silent parties behind them pushing their agenda WAKE Up People and take action.
Sorry Dean but average Australian shooters just rolled over after the treacherous Deputy PM Tim Fischer(former soldier) collaborated with the military to confiscate civilian firearms in 1997. There should be no register of long arms anywhere. Suggest you watch the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aG2CAMk0eOI Editor

“Naturally Australian gun owners would not ever have the balls to stage a similar show of force after being dumbed-down by their collective soft-cock shooting bodies,” Ain’t that the truth! I would attempt to discuss the gun control agenda and Port Arthur with the leaders of the Sport Shooting Association of Australia (SSAA) and they would almost run out of the room. The national president, Bill Shelton and the NSW president Roy Smith would move out at a quick pace. I suppose it gave them ‘plausible deniability’ in the future when they could say “I didn’t know!”
I remember a NSW meeting where I was told, “We have to appear reasonable, we have to appear reasonable!” – What a bunch of cucks. 35 people are slaughtered to promote gun control and those clowns thought it was reasonable to tell their members to hand in their firearms.
As Barry Liggins, a gunsmith said, “A government that kills its citizens to promote gun control, is not a government you surrender your guns to.”
And of course the blue fancy dress “brotherhood” are totally gutless when confronted by real opposition
When governments finally over step the mark (and they will), an armed civilian population is the ONLY remedy
Um…show video of bring it on…look, we appreciate the support but make no mistake…150k people with guns didn’t impress them…and they are moving forward…because unlike Hong Kong, Or other places where they stay for weeks, well…we go home when the sun goes down. Govt was not impressed or threatened…1776 they would have been shooting years ago…now…looks like we just like to show them off…
The gun laws need a review I think…
I agree with some of what’s in place now…
1st a person must be able to pass a full police check… minor offences such as traffic tickets , loss of lic due to drunk driving should not be against you…
BUT if you have a past in criminal activity,
Drugs ,child abuse ,assault ,other than self defence ,or other criminal activity of which you are likely to ‘re OFFEND….
Pass a firearm safety course…
To own a semi automatic rifle of which can only be used on farms to get rid of large nos of ferral animals…
Every fire arm holder should maintain a registrar ,of his firearms in his or her possession ,to be presented to weapons inspectors ,on inspections…
To the best of my knowledge, gun crimes are not carried out by legal firearm lic holders…
Around the world ,terrorist have killed or injured more people with a car or truck than with a firearm.
I think police should also not feel threaten by firearm holders…
If police ran short seminars ,meet and greet bbq ,with shooting clubs etc ,discussing safety ,firearm security ,all these things would play a roll in public awareness,etc..
Just some ideas….
I appreciate your articles but your language is offensive regards Australian shooters. I just recently gained my shooters licence for my property. I’m a Vietnam veteran 1971-’72 tour, Delta Coy, 4RAR. Look up our history. My mates and I sir, are no soft cocks. I stand shoulder to shoulder with the yanks too but words cost me nothing. The US gun right supporters have the numbers and the
The US gun rights supporters have the numbers and the money.
Yes you are 100% correct our people in Australia do not have the balls to do anything about it but it was great to see that the people from Virginia stood up to the corruption that was staring them right in the face I would really like to be able to talk to you guys in the very near future about our new group called Australian Independent movement
