It seems that the proof of the US biolab operations in Ukraine are so strong that the US spin doctors are now forced to jump over the usual deny/no comment phase.
Of course, the biowarfare labs are for peaceful warfare. š As are the $$billions worth of arms that the Money Changers had been flooding into Ukraine before the Russian intervention.
But the freedom and peace loving MSM knows nothing about that. Itās not part of the script itās supposed to spruik.

Washington confirms it is working with Kiev to prevent Russia from accessing the laboratoriesā
āUS Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland has confirmed that Washington has been involved in an effort to make sure no āmaterialsā Ukraine keeps in its biolabs end up with the Russian military.
āUkraine has biological research facilities, which, in fact, we are now quite concernedā¦ Russian troops, Russian forces may be seeking to gain control of,ā Nuland said on Tuesday as she testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
āWeāre working with Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach,ā she added.
The Russian military previously claimed that the Ukrainian authorities have been hastily destroying dangerous materials, including highly pathogenic bacterial and viral agents they allegedly kept in laboratories linked to the Pentagon.
On Monday, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov claimed that the documents seen by the Russian military suggest that some of these laboratories worked with anthrax and the plague among other infections. Kirillov also alleged that āthe only reasonā why Kiev had reportedly moved to destroy the materials was out of concern that Russian experts āwill highly likely prove Ukraine and the US have been in violation of the Biological Weapons Conventionā once they study the samples.
While Moscow has expressed concerns over the alleged development of bioweapons in Ukraine, Nuland has appeared to preemptively blame Russia for any potential release of hazardous materials amid the ongoing military conflict.ā

I was actually saying that I have yet to see a piece which claims that pre-Soviet, communist Ukraine existed as an independent nation or state.
I stand to be corrected but “the Ukraine” was a term which defined a region, much as the term Siberia defines a region. A Ukrainian was a dweller or an inhabitant of “the Ukraine” region and might have been ethnically identified as Polish, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Romanian, Russian, Turkish, various Cossacks and even Scandinavian, etc. The Ukraine, pre 1918, was not defined by its own state or national borders but effectively by the shifting borders of the surrounding states who laid claim to various parts of the region.
As far as I can tell and failing my further enlightenment, speaking of a Ukrainian “nation” pre 1918 makes as much sense as speaking of a Siberian or Scandinavian “nation”.

In January 1918, Ukraine declared itself an independent republic, then on 9 Feb 1918, signed the Brest-Litovsk Peace Treaty with Germany and Austria. ( refer to Ch: XLI).

Why not start with the nations which were part of Poland Lithuania. When that empire broke apart all those nationalities attempted to form their own states and succeeded – some of them not for very long or had territories and their populations conquered by others. Poland became an independent nation after 300 years of carve-up by foreign conquest at the end of WWI. Ukraine also – but it conquered again by the Bolsheviks. Poland fought the war of annihilation against the Red Army invasion 1919 -1921 and retained its independence until it was handed over to the USSR by the Allies at Yalta.
