The RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) ABC Fact Check Unit is based at RMIT’s City campus. I wonder who is sponsoring this teamed effort?
Apparently, the RMIT ABC Fact Check is funded jointly by RMIT University and the ABC. Because the ABC is a publicly funded, independent media organisation, RMIT ABC Fact Check is accountable to the Australian Parliament and operates as an agenda-free zone.

This crackpot has been insisting for decades that “Democracy is trial by Jury.” He muddies the water at a time when clarity of vision is critical to our survival.
Democracy has nothing to do with juries or courts. Democracy is, as Abraham Lincoln defined: “Government of the people, by the people and for the people.” Or, as Thomas Paine put it, “All authority resides in the people” and “The people are the source of all authority”.
To up it in 21st century terms, “Democracy is when a fully informed community formulates all policy.”

It is a very focused beam of energy aimed and fired at an individual target from up to 550m by an operator at a video console inside a vehicle cab or standing behind the emitter panel mounted on a tripod. In Canberra at the stage area, my daughter felt it was a hot 35C when the ambient temp was 23C. Both she and her partner are suffering multiple injuries over a week later, as hundreds of others are reporting.
