The LRAD shoots out a concentrated blast of 150 decibels worth of noise; Just turn your inverted umbrellas & signs back on them, aiming the sound back where it came from or against nearby other hostiles. It will knock them over if everyone does that. And packing your ears with anything, plugs, buds, wet tissues, gum etc will help too.

Yes, indeed! I can see how police brutally bashing and abusing civilians may incite hatred of the civilians. Police should always be shown in a positive light so that our love for them and our faith in them is maintained.
Inciting hatred by being bashed and abused by police is an act worthy of censorship. It can only lead to the violence the police are protecting us from.
It should not be publicised for the gratification of the abused and beaten. That’s not what police brutality and abuse is about. It’s about heroes, not victims.

Do you think The police are going to hate the protesters ? I mean they are too often disrespectful and absolutely violent to people who have not been violent at all. Or are they scared some one will foolishly becomes violent ?
Quite frankly I consider the use of the LARDs in Canberra violent. One should note , the police wore ear protection.
Admittedly they did not use them to their full potential .But, while they had to wear their work safety gear,they are permitted to physically attack PEACEFUL protesters. Someone said it was to scramble the videos.fortunately not all the violence was unrecorded. I believe those police should be charged. Surely the police are supposed to be law abiding citizens , and an example to others .There was a time when the police were beyond reproach I thought.
Any police or or organizers allowing and condoning this are not worthy any respect. Shame.
