Red Cross Australia has confirmed that Covid inoculated donors are able to donate blood if they have not had any side effects after a mRNA jab.
“Although we strongly encourage COVID-19 vaccination for all donors and employees, donors do not have to be vaccinated to donate blood,” a spokeswoman said.
“Donors need to wait at least three days after each COVID-19 vaccination to make sure they have had no side effects and are feeling healthy and well on the day of donation.
“Donors always need to feel well on the day they donate.
“If someone has received a COVID-19 vaccination outside of Australia, they can call us to discuss it.”
Should an un-vaccinated patient need a blood transfusion, the ethical issues herein are mind boggling.
What are the long term effects of a transfusion for the un-vaccinated?

In reply to Cheryl Hutchinson: like volunteering for a vaccination, if you do volunteer you give up all rights to compensation for vax injuries, because you volunteered. If you go and get or need it in surgery maybe you need to specify prior that un-vaccinated donor blood must be used for you? The Red Cross need to be Noticed of the fact that f they se contaminated COVID vax-recipient blood then they are gully liable for any harm, loss or injury incurred by people using their products, as peopel who do so will have no other alternative other than storing their own blood, somehow. The reason I will not go to a doctor if I am sick is because some years ago I had what is called an orchitis, which is potentially deadly infection. After 9+ weeks of the doctor’s penicillin nonsense, I went to alternative remedies and fixed myself in 2.5 weeks, using colloidal silver, bicarb of soda and other alkalizing agents like apple cider vinegar. I would not go near a hospital in a fit, and to a doctor only for a broken bone or a stitching up. The rest? Forget it!!! And that is from previous experience.
Blood products have had a history of contamination in the past but this one takes the cake.

You cannot give blood if you have had Hepatitis C or HIV.
You can if you have had treatment for Hepatitis A and B.
The claims are that blood donations are tested and are safe.
A bit like the covid injections.
There are Transfusion Alternative Strategies for Jehovah’s Witnesses who are given the right to refuse blood products.
It’s just a matter of having the “right to choose” for the rest of us, and to know that they even exist.
All hospitals should have that resource.

For the ‘vaccine free’ it has been suggested by other sources, that you find people with the same blood type to donate to you, should you need an operation. Alternatively, if you know that you have to go into hospital for a procedure you should progressively build up your own supply gradually over a couple of weeks. Don’t know the practicalities of this though?

Hello Cairns News, Research Auto Haemotheraphy, you will find lots of controversy there. Prior to admitting yourself to an operative procedure that ‘might’ result in you needing replacement blood. Have a unit of your own blood drawn off and stored, then it the need arises its there ready to go. It will be free of transfective agents (Chagas disease Trypanosoma cruzi) and other creepy crawlies. I see no reason for confusion. Medicos take note: Should I ever require blood, you better provide blood from a clean un-mRNA-jabbed person or I will respond as I would to anybody else who wants to kill me.
