My Grandfather was in the 1st and 4th ANZAC Cyclist Battalions in WW1 in France as a Signaller and awarded an MID for work done in Villers Bretonneux. He also served in WW2 as a Signaller as did his son, my Uncle John. Eventually I joined the RAAF and was in Communications for 21 years. I then joined the Army as an RA Sig and did that for 20 years (total of 41 years). My daughter is still in the RAAF and has served in Timor and during Afgan war. I think our family have put in our fair share.

You’re bringing tears to my eyes, Ed. So many of our boys fought and died for what we are now so readily frittering away. We are a tragic betrayal of everything we once proudly stood for as Australians. 🙁

Yea exactly, but as Rod Colleston said, if we can win this, the government corporation, not the Australian taxpayer, will be picking up the tab for this fiasco.
How a Crime Minister can stand up and talk lies, knowing quite well that he has pushed and implemented this agenda to kill and destroy the Australian citizens, beggars belief.
We will be awaiting the day that these treasonous preditors face the music ..

Awesome I like the bottom picture, is it available for purchase by whoever drew it or painted it? I would definitely get one and frame it as a reminder of the personal sacrifice that our diggers made over the years to preserve freedoms in our country and the supposedly free world, freedoms which are slipping through our fingers on a daily basis as I write this.
I see the hat badge on the right hat on the bar is from the RAE. awesome corps with a long proud history which I had the privilege to serve in for six memorable years.
