I was talking to my husband this morning about how we condemn pyramid schemes but we live in one, the hard working class at the bottom with the hardest job providing not only for their family but for the hierarchy at the top. Can’t we see that. It’s about time the whole political setup in Australia was changed, we don’t need multiple premiers, multiple huge salaries with the entourage that goes with them. There’s only, what 26 million of us, it’s overkill and we the public at the bottom of the pyramid are the enablers of this whole scenario. We elected them, we tolerate their indiscretions, we need to hold them to a higher standard of performance and accountability.Just because Gladys has got huge numbers of people to be jabbed doesn’t mean it was right, it just means she had the power to do it.

Your performance as a demented school teacher may have blinded you to the fact that language has ONLY one function, to convey the ideas in you head, to mine. If it succeeds in that quest, then it has achieved it’s function, and other protocols are of lesser importance.
I have pulled people up over their spelling from time to time, but only where the mistake rendered the text ambiguous.
i have a friend who is dyslexic, her therapist told her that when her spelling of a word differed from the “norm”, it merely meant that she knew more ways to spell it than other people.
I hope that you can accomod8 that.
