Nearly all of the patients admitted to Sydney hospitals when the latest Covid outbreak started several weeks ago had been vaccinated according to hospital staff who contacted Cairns News.
But some Queensland cops are not going down without a fight. At least 30 of them and their families have engaged a solicitor to fight the mandate.
They have set up a crowd-funding page to raise money to hire a lawyer, and it has received more than $18,000 in donations in just a handful of days.
For this outrage the dizzy blonde Commissioner Katarina Carrol, a career public servant, said she would have the fund raising investigated. Do not upset the Covid brotherhood…or sisterhood, now it appears….
But the Queensland Police Force has a union led by former officer and suspected megalomaniac Ian Leavers who once said only police should own firearms.
So it seems this courageous troop have not asked for his help.
Many of those donating appear to be serving and retired police officers, and the group behind the social media page seem to be taking a broader stance on vaccine mandates for employees in other sectors, public or private.
They also stressed that they were not “anti-vaccine”.
“We are not pro- or anti- the vaccine. This is not a pro- or anti- vaccine matter,” the group stated.
“It is a question of whether our employers on behalf of the government can authorise civil conscription and interfere with the relationship between a patient and their doctor by mandating a vaccine.”
They said that Australia has a “representative democratic government structured to afford its citizens legal protection against the exercise of arbitrary political power.”
In a statement, Commissioner Katarina Carroll said a highly vaccinated population was “the greatest protection we have against the virus”.
“That is why the QPS is mandating vaccinations for the entire workforce in all QPS workplaces within the next five months to protect employees, their families and the community from COVID-19,” Commissioner Carroll said.

You know, most of us think policing is a really difficult job.
When I was a bus driver, a young man joined after resigning from the police force because it was a difficult job. When signing off one day, I heard him on the depot radio asking for assistance as he’d taken a wrong turn. It was quite funny. Anyway, he told me a month or 2 later that he had his old job back and was leaving because bus driving was much harder than being a policeman.

Probably no police officer has lost a cent from all of this Covid garbage, with overtime they (likely) have made a lot of extra money, How dare they ask for money from those that have suffered from their corporate backed thuggery.
If they win their case and do not have to have the jab they will go back to enforcing the Covid garbage on us, which will include being thugs at protests.

The cops are all gung ho about giving people fines for non complience etc, so by doing this they arn’t also keeping us, the public, safe..
It’s easily fixed, don’t want the jab, don’t be a cop!!

The reality is, the police are enforcing lock-downs, masks, tests, etc.
The Australian Defence Force (ADF) is assisting them and also now actually giving the jab.
Good luck with getting a fair deal from the corporate courts. Good luck with getting the corporate governments to do anything other than follow the dictates of their corporate masters.

No. Get yer hands in yer own pockets. And why do they think the courts aren’t stacked with political appointees? All they have to do is turn around and face their masters.
