A defiant Gold Coast hairdresser is standing by her decision to ban COVID-vaccinated customers from her salon, despite being slammed by experts and social media critics.
Yazmina Adler (below), owner of the Khemia HI Vibe Frequency Salon at Palm Beach, unleashed a storm of controversy when she announced on Instagram this week that clients who had received the jab were not welcome in her shop because of the vaccine’s ‘unknown health effects’ and reputed ‘unusual signs and symptoms within the menstrual cycle’.
The decision was slammed as ‘ill-informed to the point of being dangerous and irresponsible’ by Dr Bruce Willett, Queensland chair of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
While other health experts labelled it as “absurd, ridiculous and causing a public health risk”, and Dr Sonu Haikerwal, of the Upper Coomera Respiratory Clinic and Haan Health called it a “slap in the face to the health workers who’ve ensured the community remains free of COVID-19”.
But Ms Adler, 30, who has been a hairdresser since before leaving school at 15, told The Courier-Mail on Thursday she was ‘standing by my convictions’.
She said that while she had copped plenty of abuse – forcing her to remove her business address online and screen calls – she had also received ‘thousands’ of messages of support.
“It’s intense, people (critics) are going hard, but it takes a lot of courage to stand up against the so-called norm,” she said.
“It (concern about the vaccine) is out there and all I’ve done is brought it to the surface. There are many people that I know of that feel the same way.
“This is a very controversial topic so it’s going to draw out a lot of haters, but the support is outweighing the criticism 100 per cent.”

175. Prohibitions with respect to biological weapons
(a) In General.-Whoever knowingly develops, produces, stockpiles, transfers, acquires, retains, or possesses any biological agent, toxin, or delivery system for use as a weapon, or knowingly assists a foreign state or any organization to do so, or attempts, threatens, or conspires to do the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for life or any term of years, or both. There is extraterritorial Federal jurisdiction over an offense under this section committed by or against a national of the United States.
(b) Additional Offense.-Whoever knowingly possesses any biological agent, toxin, or delivery system of a type or in a quantity that, under the circumstances, is not reasonably justified by a prophylactic, protective, bona fide research, or other peaceful purpose, shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both. In this subsection, the terms “biological agent” and “toxin” do not encompass any biological agent or toxin that is in its naturally occurring environment, if the biological agent or toxin has not been cultivated, collected, or otherwise extracted from its natural source.
(c) Definition.-For purposes of this section, the term “for use as a weapon” includes the development, production, transfer, acquisition, retention, or possession of any biological agent, toxin, or delivery system for other than prophylactic, protective, bona fide research, or other peaceful purposes.

LONDON (AP) — Four African countries have reported new cases of polio linked to the oral vaccine, as global health numbers show there are now more children being paralyzed by viruses originating in vaccines than in the wild.
In a report late last week, the World Health Organization and partners noted nine new polio cases caused by the vaccine in Nigeria, Congo, Central African Republic and Angola. Seven countries elsewhere in Africa have similar outbreaks and cases have been reported in Asia, including the two countries where polio remains endemic, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
In rare cases, the live virus in oral polio vaccine can mutate into a form capable of sparking new outbreaks. All the current vaccine-derived polio cases have been sparked by a Type 2 virus contained in the vaccine. Type 2 wild virus was eliminated years ago.
Polio is a highly infectious disease that spreads in contaminated water or food and usually strikes children under 5. About one in 200 infections results in paralysis. Among those, a small percentage die when their breathing muscles are crippled.
Donors last week pledged $2.6 billion to combat polio as part of an eradication initiative that began in 1988 and hoped to wipe out polio by 2000. Since then, numerous such deadlines have been missed….
The Independent Monitoring Board, a group set up by WHO to assess polio eradication, warned in a report this month that vaccine-derived polio virus is “spreading uncontrolled in West Africa, bursting geographical boundaries and raising fundamental questions and challenges for the whole eradication process.”

The Podiatrist who does my toe nails has had one shot of AstraZeneca and she is due another, later this month, but by the time I see her again.
The first shot gave her a headache for a few days, but I did not mention that the second shot has been reported as being many times worse – better she finds out about that herself, I think.
She is a professional and she sees lots of people, so, I suppose, from her point of view, it makes sense to do that, however, I did give her a print out of my salt water cure, to no avail I guess, such is life.
It will be interesting to see how the AstraZeneca shots work on her, she has “issues” which could impact on her severely, from what I have been reading, so I am really curious to see how things develop with her. She is 52.
With regards to shedding, I am open on that one, but I imagine that shedding means a viral test vaccine, if such exists, so after each visit, I do my salt water sniffle, just to be on the safe side of things, so far, so good.
There are going to be a lot more who have been vaccinated, I assume, from those who don’t get vaccinated, so if you are afraid of shedding, you have 2 options, that I can see, become a Hermit (which happens if you rely on a Government Pension) or after gong out and about, you have my salt water sniffle and especially if you feel like you have something coming on, to keep safe.
