Morrison ignored the requests. And he narrowly won government in the much-touted unwinnable election.

There is a fundamental error encapsulated in this post, not one of reporting, but one of attitude adopted by the people. WE THE PEOPLE, ARE THE CREDITORS, under Queen Victoria’s letters patent, when setting up the colony of The Commonwealth of Australia, she established that the people, not the land mass, ARE the commonwealth (check out the letters patent).
Only debtors beg, (after all, your boss does not come and beg you to do your job!), under the circumstances it would be appropriate that the creditors DEMAND,not beg. No wonder the “government” takes no bloody notice.
