How do 50 or more bushfires start almost simultaneously across NSW or Queensland? There have been no reports of lightning storms to speak of and just a handful of kids charged for allegedly starting fires near Brisbane. Power lines have not been blamed, so how do so many fires start in such a short time?
What is the end play? Authorities, some fire fighters, naturally the media in particular the jaundiced ABC blame ‘climate change.’ Well here is the evidence that something or someone is frequently changing the weather, causing unnatural fires and blaming it on climate change. Apart from the young kids, more than 8 of them & a 19y.o volunteer bush fireman who lit 12, what about the idiot in Ballina who tried creating a fire break to protect is marijuana crop. He burnt down a whole community.
There was also a storm almost 2 weeks ago, where more than 3000 lightening strikes saw more than 50 fires started.
The figures have to be close to being correct before whinging.
Alot of these fires started naturally, with by combustion of gum, or eucalyptus oil in our trees, lightening strikes & filthy fire bugs. This happens every summer.
If the RFS were allowed to conduct Hazzard reduction burning during the cooler months, it would reduce the amount of foliage available for fires to be naturally lit by lightening strikes or fire bugs. Does it take a bloody rocket science to figure this out. No it’s common sence
Yes I was thinking along the same lines. Anyone who saw the images of Paradise must know they used weapons – it is just so obvious. Not sure here – perhaps just insurgents or local fire bugs – the number and timing did seem stange to me. – the extent of weather contol is also uncertain to me..
