For over 15 years the global warmists have become progressively more outspoken with their scare stories, and less careful with facts and science.
But their latest tactics of promoting Extinction Hellions and exploiting a teenage Swedish Doomsayer represent alarmist over-reach.
Ordinary people are becoming suspicious: “If their science is sound, why do they resort to media scare stories, traffic disruption, street rebellions, school truants, religious zealots and academic purging?”
We are close to the peak of this global warming madness. Their models and forecasts have failed and consumers suffer soaring electricity cost and blackouts while tenured academics produce Play-School plans for 100% “Green” power.
Climate sense is finally starting to ooze through the cracks in the stone wall built to keep Skeptics out of the flimsy marquee that shelters the warming nobility.
It is downhill from here for the alarmists and bad news for their academic mercenaries, Hollywood backers, Rebellion puppets, business vested interests and alarmist propaganda machines like Australia’s ABC, UK’s BBC and Guardian, Canada’s CBC and CNN in USA.
They are losing their credibility and their thinking audiences just when they will need them for backpedalling, explanations and apologies
Viv, you got it right. The establishment is in control of democracy. Political donations rule policy, especially in regards energy and water. As to the climate science, I think you have it dead wrong.
Yes Peter, it is now an emergency. However, not for the reason you think. We are going into a Grand Solar Minimum which means that growing seasons are getting shorter and the weather becomes more variable – oh yeah, it also means it is going to get COLDER.

Hi Davina we have done our homework. Many of our editorial panel are aged over 60. We have lived in the bush and in cities but over the past 60 years as ardent climate watchers, rural production depends on it, there has not been weather cycle we haven’t seen repeated over this time. We had cyclone Tracy which levelled Darwin in 1974-no global warming back then or whatever phrase that fraudster Gore wants to us. If you read the article about Indian Ocean sea levels in Cairnsnews done by reputable research scientists you will find the water level has not risen in 100 years.Ed
Well if you will allow me, a 44 year advocate on climate change, yes I was around Greta’s age when I began to find my voice also.
Brought up in a Liberal party family of former PM seat, I was honoured to meet many a Liberal leader, Representative and Senator from 10 – 15 years of age. But was quickly persuaded to stop nuclear, wars, polluters, consumerism… For something else. That was Democratic freedoms to speak up and speak louder when needed. Greta is much better at this.
44 years hearing your counter arguments to climate change, which is now an emergency.
I strongly recommend you come together and address the issues around this, of health, us as a planet, of children, of species.
Because you see 44 years the wealthy, Corporations, Mining, Manufacturing and so on have argued.
The argument is over, come together and respond to the children’s disclosure of harm.
Be together on this at least for this one shared planet for our children.
May I remind you, that everyone you attack, it’s defensive, which means you’re not telling the whole truth. You are pushing yourselves into a corner, whilst destroying the very democratic right to speak up. As Malcolm Fraser said “youth are the conscience of our Governments”

Viv I have to wonder if you are on crack because what you are saying is beyond ridiculous. People resort to these measures because governments are not listening. They are run by the power of $ donations by oil barons. The fact that you are calling is global warming instead of climate change shows how out of touch you are. Weather extremes are obviously on the increase – everyone can see that. 99% of scientists are wrong and you are right, hey? You’re an absolute joke of a science writer.

Recently we watched an SBS documentary on Hitler and his rise to power, and were instantly struck on how his presentation of the speech on his appointment as Chancellor of Germany in 1933, was so similar to Thunberg’s presentation to the UN. Slow and quiet at first, then rising to a crescendo, ranting, spitting and raving, and pounding on the dais.The looks on both faces were twisted, angry, bitter. Only difference was that Greta didn’t have a dais to pound on!
