Election candidates, booth workers and scrutineers again have reported widespread corruption similar to that reported at the 2012 and 2015 state elections run by the dodgy Electoral Commission of Queensland.
Booth workers across the state claim the Labor Party and unions have infiltrated to ECQ to such an extent there is no possibility of this government department carrying out a state election to deliver a clean result.
In the Far North an onslaught against conservative political parties began in earnest at least eight weeks ago.
Many hundreds of election signs erected by party supporters were reported damaged or stolen from roadsides and private property. At an estimated cost of $8 for a corflute sign and $3 for a wooden stake, the financial loss to candidates was crippling.
Candidates have blamed the ALP and the crocodile lovers for the sign thefts. Cairns News hopes the croc shaggers and the militant Labor trench-coaters are soon devoured by the explosion of dangerous crocs infesting human habitats.
One Nation and Katters Australian Party were hard hit by sign thieves who struck in the middle of the night.
Booth workers across Cape York Peninsula reported ALP posters being left in polling booths at indigenous communities, ALP-aligned scrutineers accompanying indigenous voters into booths and actually filling out their ballot papers, with a lead pencil, naturally.
A Kowanyama booth worker reported Labor supporters telling indigenous voters on their way to the booth to vote only for the Labor candidate or they would lose their pensions and dole (sit down money).
Meanwhile we are advised the counting continues at the Cook electorate office where Labor candidate Cynthia Lui has a slim lead over One Nation candidate Jen Sackley and KAP candidate Gordon Rasmussen. This is occurring in spite of the questionable Bamaga ballot box being included in the count.
The Electoral Officers manning (womynning?) the Hospital voting both took active steps to conceal non-Leftist how-to-vote cards. This is illegal in the extreme, but the Electoral Commission couldn’t have cared less.
So what you are saying, people remember clearly the Newman days, but seem to have very short memories of the Bligh days. After all look what happened to Labor seats when Newman got elected in – dwindled down to a very minority – not even enough seats to hold a chorum. Remember how Bligh put this state into so much debt, Newman had to cut down on spending. Unfortunately no one seemed to like it. Looks like people like you like having this state end up in bankruptcy…..that is what Labor voters voted for.

Am concerned about the electoral process with the QEC, too.
Was awake early 30/11/17, so for interest made a copy of the results so far according to the QEC website to see how the count is progressing, as the QEC had very early pulled their 2PP results from their electoral reporting.
At 1:40am was looking at one of the electorates on the QEC website, and the first preference polling results for an independent candidate changed – was increased – before my eyes, with no time change for last update of course.
This would change the preference voting for the 2PP candidates for that district with the goal no doubt to change which candidate is “elected.”
It does not matter which candidate, party or electorate – I only saw one instance of this when happened to be looking at that electoral results site at 1:40am.
The results are re-loaded every few minutes, even after hours, so similar alterations between vote results could be made cumulatively over days in “close” election districts, with the aim to skew results to ALP.
This calls the result of the entire election count into question. I believe a re-count at the very least is in order.
I believe the 2PP notional results were pulled early by the QEC as it is apparent the election has actually been won in a landslide victory by the LNP from preferences.
Would the 2PP notional voting results have been pulled had the ALP been winning, as has been continued to be widely reported in the media?
Removal of the 2PP notional vote from the QEC website is not open, honest and fair electoral process reporting.
If any reason is given for removal of the 2PP notional vote regarding it being too early to call an election, that is rubbish as it is a notional vote.
I believe that most ONP voters would have had the common sense to preference conservatives and independents before the left, despite any ONP how to vote cards to the contrary. As would any conservative voter.
It has been widely reported in the media that vote counting now stops after 10pm at night due to WH&S reasons.
So with no counting activities after 10pm, should there have been changes made to the voting results at 1:40am, with no change to the “last-updated” time? I think not.

The reason Labor will be in power has nothing to do with rigged ballots what caused it was all of the rednecks that voted for the red headed redneck who was in competition with the LNP and split the vote, a lot of One Nation preferences also went to Labor because the people who voted for O/N have good memories of the last time the LNP was in power and stuffed up everything it touched thanks to Campbell Newman, you all want to stop whinging and look in the mirror if you want to find out why Labor will be in power, I wouldn’t be surprised if Annastacia Palaszczuk gives Pauline a ring to thank her for taking votes off the LNP and then giving preferences to Labor.

Qld cannot seem to conduct free and fair elections. Remember the ‘Mediscare’ affair carried out by ALP Brisbane on the July 2016 Federal Election Day? Mobile phone holders were targeted with the false information that Medicare was closing and the instruction was to vote ALP to save Medicare. I checked the Seat of Herbert which without Mediscare, would have gone to LNP. I wrote to the Courier Mail who printed my letter. So Turnbull lost a seat.
If the ECQ cannot conduct free and fair elections we should stop boasting that we are
a democracy as clearly we are not.
